"Christine is a highly focused, energetic, and driven professional. She consistently challenges herself and her students with the arts curriculum. She has performed above and beyond when setting up art displays for open house, art shows at various community sites, or entering her student’s artworks in scholarship competitions." Hello and welcome to my "About Me" page. I have five years of experience teaching art. I have taught first grade through twelfth grade students.
In 2005, I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Communications and a background in art. I was hired three months later at Udine International School, Udine Italy. I taught first through eight grade art at a school for Italian children. It was a great first year experience as well as a wonderful opportunity to to grow as a professional I picked up my teaching career again in the 2009-2010 school year where I was hired to teach three classes of art a day at three different schools. The following, I was hired full-time at Golden Gate High School, Naples Florida. During my time at Golden Gate High School, I obtained my Florida Teaching Certification in ESE and K-12 Art. I am currently working on my masters degree in Education from the American College of Education. In 2013, I moved to Tampa with my husband and was hired to start the new middle school art program at Roland Park International School. |
